Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Moviemitch96 — 09 Jan 2015
A very well-made and interesting look back at the efforts of Alan Turing and his great effort to crack the German Enigma code. While it isn't mindblowing by any means, it's definitely a simple little film that offers a great story that tells an interesting part of WWII history.
The acting is what makes this film. Benedict Cumberbatch delivers what's probably his best performance yet. With other great supporting performances from Keira Knightey, Mark Strong, etc, it's definitely a worthwhile film if you're looking for great acting and an incredible historical story to pass the time.
