Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Movieguys — 01 Jan 2015
Well-acted, well-scripted, and with a screenplay to die for, The Imitation Game clocks in at #1 on my list for the best movie of 2014. It engrosses you in the life of mathematician Alan Turing as he tries to break the Enigma Code during WWII, giving you a real character study on the man and his work as well as insight into his internal struggles.
Benedict Cumberbatch gives one of his best performances, and Keira Knightley comes up a close second. Go see this film- it will move you.
