Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Hannah L — 26 Apr 2015
This movie delivers everything a great movie should have. Smart dialogue- especially great that the audience understands everything that is going on, with complex mathematical problems and all- fantastic performances by the actors, and a beautiful plot.
This film brings a 700 paged book, or a man's entire life, onto the big screen without losing its audience. Personally, I wanted to cry at the end because the director gave us an amazing close to Alan Turing's life.
The story itself is amazing, a man who basically won the war for us and was not honored or remembered for 50 years. I have no complaints, but one small one: it is a little bit confusing in the beginning, to tell what time period each scene is taking place in.
But as the movie progresses, you start understanding more, so the director makes up for the confusion. Love this movie.
