Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by David P — 18 Jun 2015
For fans of WWII time piece films, this is a must watch. There is such brilliant acting, something the movie relies on for it to work as well as it did. The character progression of Alan Turing is remarkable to watch, though I wouldn't say inspiring.
What Alan had to go through in his shortened life is truly sad, despite being a war hero he suffered the loss of a best friend and forced to hide who he is inside. I only wish that the movie did more than be a witness on his biggest life events, either that or I missed something crucial.
Nonetheless this is a remarkable story that is a great watch, even if some of the events stretch the facts of Alan's life (this isn't a biography of the man).
