Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Joe F — 09 Aug 2015
I was very disappointed to see Turing portrayed as a typically misunderstood, loner, autistic mathematician reinforcing common stereotypes. The breaking of Enigma was a massive collaborative effort not the vindication of a lone genius.
This is a pretty major fault in my book.
Cumberbatch is fantastic. I found Knightley miscasted as her striking looks get in the way of the story.
