Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Sandy K — 15 Sep 2015
An extraordinary movie about an extraordinary mind (Alan Turing's to be specific), Turing's lasting impact on all our lives, and the heartbreaking tragedy of how the country he saved turned against him because of the harsh anti-homosexual norms of the time.
It was especially wonderful to see this anti-social man be the first to acknowledge and welcome the contributions of Joan Clarke, whose brilliance would have been left on the sidelines during WWII because of her gender were it not for Turing's insistence on her participation.
