Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by James L — 20 Mar 2016
This World War Two biopic drama is simply brilliant. It's perfectly written and acted. Benedict delivered the main character with just enough punch and often makes you think if he is Professor Alan Turing himself. I'm sure most of us will sympathise with his character.
It's another show set out to tell us that every government has their own secrets. The good thing about this secret is that it helps shorten the war by a significant amount and saved countless innocent lives in the process.
Prof. Turing is again a marvellous mind who has lived through the wrong era. If people have supported him in his time of need, I'm sure he would not have taken his own life and the birth of the first computer would have come sooner. The world and their ruthless judgement has cost a great man his life and his work buried. I can't believe it took almost 62 years for him to be honoured with a royal pardon and be recognised for his wonderful service to humanity.
