Staggeringly bland, feels like it was made for TV, on a budget. I cannot fathom how this film attained a single Oscar nomination. It smothers the historical nuances and facts with cheaply fabricated and disconnected dramatics.
To gain a deeper appreciation, understanding and emotional connection to the actual story one has only to read the history of Bletchley and Turing on Wikipedia.
