Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Aaron C — 24 Apr 2015
This film is completely dependent on the performance of Benedict Cumberbatch, and he is simply outstanding. Going in I was afraid the script may be a little above my head, and it focuses on the complicated work of Alan Turing.
While I may never have quite understood everything that was going on, I didn't care because I was captivated By Cumberbatchs performance and the surprisingly effective performance of Keira Knightley.
Overall, I feel people will be really drawn into this film and its surprisingly poignant messages. This film gives Alan Turing the justice he deserved.
