Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Frederic C. B — 01 May 2015
The Good:
A compelling and heartbreaking story, brought to life with amazing powerful performance by Benedict Cumberbatch. A wonderful portrayal of how discrimination to people who are 'different' is nothing but a crime and injustice. Unpredictable surprise concerning the nature of secrecy and morale ambiguity of operatives behind the War.
The Not-so-Good:
Some part feels slow, though arguably never really bothers the pacing. The back and forth between time era can be confusing at times, especially because sometimes the timestamp isn't included on the start of the scene. Would've been nice to see what the other members of the team become after the war ends.
