Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Danny O — 19 May 2015
The Imitation Game is a great and compelling movie. It has an excellent performance by Benedict Cumberbatch, and a very interesting story. It is very unique and has a perfect dramatic tone in which you feel the stakes of the mission.
You feel for the outcast hero and want him to succeed, you feel the tension of this very precise mission. It is all very well made and written, and the ending is very satisfying. The only flaw I really have is its a bit predictable and it isn't consistently engaging.
The Imitation Game gets 4/5 stars (A-).
