Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Janette R — 29 May 2015
I liked the Imitation Game because it is one of those movies that smoothly tackles various themes without having to make some sort of grand statement or even give a single message. It is focused, well-written and outstandingly directed.
The music gives it an epic feel and the set design reminds the viewer about simpler, yet equally controversial times. The performances are all top-notch, specially Cumberbatch´s. Overall, it is an extremely fulfilling movie about justice, war, morality, love, friendship and everything in between.
