Review of The Imitation Game (2014) by Jenna I — 17 Apr 2015
The movie is pretty much formulaic-- skirting the actually emotional parts of Turings life for some cliche and more obvious tearjerkers (re: the childhood love vs his adult homosexuality). The realization moment about how to break the code was dopey-- that was the most obvious place to start.
But fine whatever. That said, very well acted. Kiera Knightly really shines and Cumberbatch does a great job as always.
