Review of The Imitation Game (1980) by Bill C — 14 Nov 2015
Having had the good luck of seeing The Imitation Game after, and in the context of a prequel to ITV's miniseries "The Bletchley Circle" - I can happily recommend both, and in any order.
With the publication of F. W. Winterbotham's The Ultra Secret (1974) public discussion of the work at Bletchley Park finally became possible. It has taken well over fifty years for this important element of history to be correctly revised.
Benedict Cumberbach and Keira Knightley as Alan Turing and Joan Clarke lead a long list of well-deserved Academy Award nominations.
