Review of The Imaginary Girl (2007) by Robert F — 30 Jul 2008
MIFF Shorts '08: I liked the middle section of this movie, when the girl's fantasy of shooting the boys actually came true on screen. But the ending was disappointing - it didn't take the film anywhere.
The music was nice, but was too melodramatic - I felt as though I was being forced into each emotion. Also, the mother seemed crazier than the daughter, and I didn't really believe her performance.
