Review of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) by Istvan G — 10 Apr 2011

Gilliam delivers always, no matter how strange his films get. The Cast was great, the story was mesmerizing. everything you'd expect from a Terry Gilliam Movie. but the one thing that sticks out is that Heath Ledger Died before completing it, which makes you very aware of every second he's on screen and it took me several viewings to shake that distracted feeling. I thought the Tony (Ledger) having multiple faces (Depp, Law, Farrell) in the Mirror world was pretty cool, very Timelord-ish.

Ledger was taken too early, it would have been quite a trip to see other parts he may have been offered & movies he'd have been in, roles he would have played. But he was very talented in what he did star in.
