There was something missing from the story. I actually thought that Tony was, for example, the disciple Judas doomed also to immortality that had good intentions, but in the end chose the wrong path, it would have been a good twist in the story, but no, the end was messy and it didn't make a lot of sense.

So, good concept, but bad ending and a messy, confused story.
