I have to hand it to terry gilliam to create such a quirky, magical world from the mind of his visionary storyteller doctor parnassus. I must admit I was drawn to this film early on because of heath ledger.

but when I saw it, I figured it didn't really matter who played tony, it could have been johnny depp, jude law or even colin farrell and it wouldn't have been less intriguing or unique. but the standout for me was verne troyer as percy.

this film wouldn't have been complete without him. "good luck finding a midget!" indeed!
