A magical fantasy movie. It works well with the other actors taking on Heath Ledger's character whenever he steps through the magical mirror. Tom Waits is great as the devil. Christopher Plummer is great as the sad and tired Doctor Parnassus.
His daughter Valentia (Lily Cole) is a beautiful angel. The sets, art direction, costuming, makeup and designs are astoundingly imaginative and beautiful.
