Review of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) by Sidney C — 13 May 2012
I am really torn with this film. The imagination and complexity of the story are amazing. But it is overly complicated and slightly boring to watch. Of course Heath Ledger is supberb and the way they got round his death is very effective but some of the moral lesson is lost in the eccentric fantasy.
P.S: Tom Waits makes a good devil.
