The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is about...... I don't really know what this movie is really about. I do know it stars mostly B- A list actors. This movie was strange, but dark, vivid, and very imaginative.
I was a bit let down, I came in clean for this movie (i.e. not trailers, clips, reviews, etc.), I thought it was going to be like Alice In Wonderland by the poster. It was pretty good though. GOD, the effects in this movie are some of the best I have ever seen.
It was like a mix of cotton candy and licorice. Final Consensus: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus seems like a vivid dream to Terry Gilliam, and a dark fantasy for the audience. Chocked full of admirable performances, no one will be disappointed, yet not entirely satisfied.
