Review of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) by Yi Ming K — 31 Jan 2013
A queer self-indulgent film that captures most of Terry Gilliam's style condensed into two hours. Great acting by Tom Waits, and the lacing of cameos work well (three A-listers fill in for Heath Ledger after he died halfway during filming) but it may be too bizarre and fantastical for some.
