Review of The Illusionist (2010) by Brad S — 13 Nov 2011
This is a well made film that just didn't quite appeal to me. Based on an unproduced Jacques Tati screenplay, it is along the lines of his Monsier Hulot films and is mostly silent and deliberately paced.
I still recommend it as I think each person will react differently and is is artistically worth seeing.
