Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Valentin A — 17 May 2013
This film could have been a true masterpiece in the hands of another director. Even though the story is fascinating and the actors (Giamatti and Norton) played out of this world, the movie itself was disgustingly predictable, full of clishees as it is of dazzling magic.
In addition to this, I really can't see Jessica Biel as THAT type of woman.
