Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Dave A — 23 Nov 2013
Came out around the same time as The Prestige, another movie about magic and the life of a magician, causing some confusion among the public, myself included. Though not quite as good as its rival film, The Illusionist is still very well-made and enjoyable.
I know I started to lose a little bit of interest near the end, but if you're like me, hold out until the resolution; the big reveal is epic.
