Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Diego E — 15 Apr 2011
Not so gung-ho about the story, which seemed pretty predictable at times, especially the ending, but I was game for this movie for one and only one reason: Edward Norton. The guy just lifts this movie to new heights with his deft portrayal of agony, loss and the intellect to weave through these emotional mazes with audacious composure.
A testament to his ability to mould himself in any form.
