Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Hui S — 22 May 2011
I'm great to watch The illusionist, this is one good magician movie, not to mention my all time favourite The Prestige =).
Different from the prestige, the illusionist didn't show how the magic was done. It is more about the games between the power, love, magic and plans. There's a quiet tension throughout the movie that captivates you, especially the twist of the ending, love it!
