Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Tero H — 16 Dec 2012
Beautifully shot, with an engrossing story, interesting characters played by strong actors, a unique plot, and an end that will send chills down your spine. This film came out of nowhere and is absolutely incredible.
It was unfortunately eclipsed by the "other magician movie" that came out at the exact same time that was also very good but received far more attention (The Prestige), so very few people saw this one -- now is the time to come around and see it.
