Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Alvin T — 15 May 2012
Featuring some of the best hollywood dialogue about politics, Ides of March is a movie not to missed by eh,... political fans in the discovery of dirty tactics and mind games in the political world.
The backbone of the story is of course is about Ryan Gosling's young and naive campaign manager for George Clooney's Governor Morris, Gosling's character will soon learn the hard and brutal way of the political world and how it works, the plot is simple, and and dialogue alone will keep you at the edge of your seat. Watch out for Phillip Seymour Hoffman's Paul Zara, the one with the sharpest lines, and look out for the scene where he delivers his loyalty speech.
Verdict: Sharp and top dialogue, and a nice trip down to the dirty and ugly world of the republican and democratic land.
