Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Tim H — 20 May 2012

This is actually taken from a play and a novel before Clooney decided to make it a film. The whole story is quite simple nonetheless and surprisingly enough I liked it very well. What captivated me is how the film personified the malice of every man on screen, no matter how good they can be. And choosing politics would be perfect arena to lure that man's malevolence. Seeing all that in the film, wasn't really pretty at all. Secrets and betrayals are wicked as they come.

If you think about it and see how far is this fiction from reality or how close it could get, the film's message is quite clear. It opens up naïve eyes and attests conspiracy theories.
