Review of The Identical (2014) by Adrian C — 09 Sep 2014
I am not religious, but I did not feel that the "faith" element of this movie tried to be pushy or distract from the story. The main character's father happens to be a preacher and wants his kid to follow in his footsteps.
As a son of a man who owns a family business, that was relatable even though I have never once set foot in a church. Like the main character, I also don't drink. Music is his passion so sex and drugs don't have to be part of his life.
I don't see why critics find this to be "preachy" and "made for Christians".
