Review of The Identical (2014) by Jan R — 09 Sep 2014
From the opening scenes and throughout the film, âThe Identicalâ? is a beautiful story with deep and well crafted character development. Ashley Judd & Erin Cottrell were amazing, warm and real. Blake Rayne as Ryan (& Drexel) was a sensitive, well acted, and deeply believable character with nothing superficial or stereotypically artificial in his portrayals (which I think would be difficult for anyone playing such a role).
He came across very natural and honest. The movie was well produced and the music fit beautifully with the style & timeline of the day. It was good storytelling and beautifully filmed. The critics must be blind, deaf, stupid or deeply troubled with their own personal agendas to have honestly viewed the same movie.
It may not win an Academy Award, but I highly recommend this wonderful movie. See it and prove the critics have lost whatever credibility they may have once thought they possessed. See this movie and you will not be disappointed.
