Review of The Iceman (2012) by Andrew B — 08 Jun 2013
A bleak but strangely moving portrayal of gangland violence in 1970's America. The narrative becomes confusing in the final quarter, which feels rushed. However, this flaw is more than compensated for by the quality of the acting (Winona Ryder puts in a particularly good performance as the protagonist's troubled spouse) and the excellent cinematography.
