Review of The Iceman (2012) by Ryan J — 21 Aug 2013

Richard Kuklinski was a psychopathic murderer who worked as a mob hitman, he had a family which he kept all his bad deeds a secret from but didn't hold back from his violent tendencies when it came to beating his wife and kids.

Only thing is that this film doesn't paint that side of the picture. Michael Shannon is great as usual but it feels like a tv movie with shocking bits of violence. Its a good film, well acted but just feels a little deflated.
