Fits nice and snug just below the best period crime-drama movies (Goodfellas, Mean streets, Godfather etc). Shannon is great along with much of the cast, but the script doesn't have enough to compete with the best of the rest, and overall it's a tad lackluster. Worth a watch, but besides Shannon's well fitting performance as a cold blooded killer, it's nothing overly fantastic or that memorable.
