Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Leon E — 02 Aug 2008
Ang Lee managed to turn a book that I did not enjoy into a rather tight and moving film. Of course, the amazing ensemble cast helps, too! For all it's retro-'70s affectation, with all the wife-swapping and Nixon references, this remains a timeless story about dysfunctional families.
