Review of The Ice Harvest (2005) by Amanda H — 03 Mar 2012
I finally got around to seeing this today, not because I thought it sounded particularly interesting, but because I love Oliver Platt, John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton, and figured I couldn't possibly go wrong with a movie that starred all three of them.
I was very pleasantly surprised, because while I expected something boring and lifeless, I laughed out loud throughout much of the film. Even if mob-oriented movies are not usually your thing, you should give this one a shot.
It's highly entertaining.
