Review of The Ice Harvest (2005) by Julie L — 10 Nov 2010
It's unfortunate that this highly engaging thriller has to be so unbelievable in parts that it loses a lot of the luster that it creates. After a lawyer and his buddy embezzle over two million dollars in cash things start to get complicated from every single direction.
Not only does the lawyer have to deal with scumbags that are trying to hunt him down at every turn he also has to deal with his ex-wife and old friends that are more of a burden than anything. The ex-wife and her family are like a hallmark greeting card in how they look too fake, not to mention how everyone else is too bad to believe as well.
