Review of The Hustler (1961) by Lynne N — 30 Mar 2008
Excellent cast - all at the top of their game, genius cinematography and direction and a plot that keeps you gripped. I know that Eddie Felson is an iconic movie character, and rightly so, but I particularly liked Piper Laurie's Sarah - what a great portrayal of a broken woman trying to hold on to the shreds of her dignity.
