What a great classic movie. Jackie Gleason is fantastic as Minnesota Fats. Paul Newman as Fast Eddie Felson is gripping. George C. Scott plays Bert Gordon who is a gambler. Piper Laurie is Sarah Packard a girl Eddie meets at the bus station and falls for.
Each was nominated for a deserved oscar. One of my favorite Paul Newman films.
