Review of The Hurricane Heist (2018) by Sean N — 24 Jun 2018
After seeing around a thousand movies, I've never been able to say that a movie felt like nothing. Vapidity is a feeling. Being bad is a feeling. But Hurricane Heist is neither. It is a movie that though it may be happening on your screen, you may as well be watching a black screen.
Though it delivers on the promise of the title, the plot is impossible to follow, the characters are some of the most forgettable and one dimensional I've ever encountered, the script is horrendous, and the payoff is not worth the time.
It feels like a Syfy original film, but I think those have more competence than The Hurricane Heist. This might possibly be the worst movie of 2018; it definitely is the worst movie so far.
