Review of The Hurricane Heist (2018) by Vincent C — 11 Mar 2018
Great movie, ignore those critics who gave negative reviews.
When I watched the trailer, I felt this catastrophe type movie could be very thrilling. However, when I read those critic reviews, I felt hesitant about getting a ticket. But after I read other positive reviews from the audience, I determined to spend the night in the theater with this movie. It turns out my decision is correct.
The overall plot is pretty attracting, this kind of atmosphere is built from the very beginning. Then during the movies, I have to appreciate the producers' creative ideas to connect different scenes to keep you sitting on the seat. The visual effect of the hurricane is breathtaking, accompanied by the background music. If it is only a bank heist story, the movie could be boring. If it is only a catastrophe movie, then it could be hard to handle because you cannot shoot the catastrophe scene through the whole movie. However, the combination of the hurricane and federal facility heist makes the storyline more intense, forcing you to concentrate on the movie almost all the time, like riding a roller coaster. And the movie gives a sharp ending after a serious of high pitches, making me want to continue sitting there and enjoying the compelling pace. Of course, there are some drawbacks and ludicrous details, but overall I still think it is worth to spend time on it.
