Review of The Hurricane (1999) by Nigel M — 25 May 2008
Have to hand out another 5 star rating to a film I should have watched years ago. Washington is fantastic but so are most of the cast in this story of twisted racist minds and what they allowed mankind to inflict unjustified, immoral suffering upon others.
How Rubin Carter attempted to block out all possible hope or humanity while he was doing the time rather than believe there might be any chink of light at the end of the tunnel is played stunningly by Washington.
Awesome.
