True story about a middle weight boxer Ruben Hurricane Carter who was given prison for life. This films shows how the boxer coped in prison and how he struggled and gained knowledge inside prison. Also shows his upbringing and being in and out of prison since being a child.
Denzel Washington performance was all round fantastic and was also nominated for best actor. Enjoyable Movie to watch. I still believe the real Ruben Carter is the Muhammed Ali of the middleweights.
