Review of The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) by Jaidyn P — 30 Apr 2016
The Huntsman: Winter's War is a good and fun action-fantasy flick (suitable for ages 9 and up). Go and check out this film in Cinemas.
I'll list off the Pros and Cons of this film:
Pros:
+ The Acting.
+ The Cast (Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, Charlize Theron, Nick Frost and some newcomers).
+ No Kristen Stewart (She was atrocious in the first film and thankfully she is not in this film).
+ Narration by Liam Neeson.
+ Strong Female Characters.
+ Stunning Costumes by Colleen Atwood.
+ Great CGI/SFX, Cinematography, Production Design & Hair and Make-up.
+ Attractive Cast - Chris Hemsworth (for the ladies) & Charlize Theron (for the men) are obviously beautiful. Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain are also pretty.
+ Some good Surprises and Twists.
+ The film was Entertaining.
Cons:
- Unnecessary Scottish Accents (Chris Hemsworh & Jessica Chastain).
- Some Disney 'Frozen', 'Brave' & 'Maleficent' comparisons.
- Not enough screen time for Charlize Theron (I wanted more of her in this film).
- A few rushed scenes.
