Review of The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) by Lasse G — 03 Jul 2016

This is a very disappointing movie. It's directed by the visuel effects supervisor of the previous film and that can be seen because the visual effects are really stunning as well as the music and the costumes.

But unfortunately, those are some of the only good things about the movie. The story is horrible and I blame the writers for writing a horrible script and that it was actually allowed to be adapted by the studio.

The performances are alright and just like the first movie, Charlize Theron ends up becoming my favorite in the movie. One that I was really disappointed with was Emily Blunt who is normally such a talented actress, but gave her worst performance ever in this movie.

I don't understand how it's possible for one movie to cripple one of the best actresses in the known world today. This is a horrible movie and it's not something that I would look back at ever in the future.
