I don't know why the audience rated it 46%... my wife and I (disparate tastes) both liked it. Critics remarks "entirely unnecessary sequel" shows a bias going into the movie which may explain their low scoring.
Pretend it's a movie all by itself and maybe remove some preconceived notions? There are so many sequels and reboots it is hard to track them... which one of the dozens of Snow White movies is this a sequel to, anyhow?
