Review of The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) by Alex B — 07 May 2016

This prequel/sequel seemed unnecessary, with the focus shifting to the uninteresting Huntsman character from the first movie. The great cast is wasted on a mediocre story. Charlize Theron is the standout in her limited role. Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt are also good. Chris Hemsworth is okay. It is the women who make this movie watchable.

Grade: B-.
