Review of The Hunt for Red October (1990) by Kilian Z — 26 Apr 2010
A good transition between the greatest (but long) of the the sub-marine movie: Das Boot & the efficient Crimson Tide. An intelligent storyline (indeed pro West) & many great scenes despite a standard direction.
Indeed S. Connery bring a strong personality to the movie & secondary characters are well portrayed. A too 90s OST if we skip the Russian Anthems.
