I love this movie. I love everything about this movie. Let's face it-- the inside of a submarine is incredibly boring. Submarine combat is boring. A lot of wandering around in the dark with no windows.
How the heck do you film that in any way that can give the audience a sense of what's going on, or make it exciting? I don't know, but they did it. I've seen it a million times and it still gives me chills.
